The Garden State Chess League begins its inagural season tonight with 3 matches at the West Orange Chess Club :
- Kenilworth Karpovs vs. Staten Island
- Hamilton vs. Summit
- Sparta vs. West Orange
All are scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m.
The Karpovs’ opening night lineup is :

The other Kenilworth entry, the Kortchnois, will play Maplewood on Thursday, 7 p.m. start time.
